Interstate '76

Recently, I wrote about my favorite game Interstate 76. Well, much to my surprise, it appears that they released some die cast models to celebrate the game. I came across this little beauty on E-bay. The interesting thing is that Taurus drives a land yacht in the game and not a Camaro. Guess it was a rights issue of some sort. It reminds me of a cheap fake knock off, but I still love it.

Got any tool car toys in your collection?

That's awesome! I loved that game as a kid. Driving around in Taurus's boat (kind of thought of it as a Continental) and dropping landmines to watch other cars fly into the air were my favorite parts of the game. I remember if that old boat flipped over there was NOTHING you could do the get it rightsided and you'd have to restart. That's an awesome addition any collection. Some of my gems are an 80's Dodge Diplomat, 78 Chrysler LeBaron wagon, 84 Volvo 760, and a 1990 Saab 900. To name only a tiny few in a vast collection.

A little model of an Audi A8 I picked up at the Audi factory in Ingolstadt generates conversation when people notice it in my office. The detail is exacting and it even has a full interior. Thing is, it's smaller than a hot wheel. it came with a miniature "glass case" to display it in. fun.

Having trouble seeing "TAURUS" on a GM Product.
